Ana Lúcia Ferreira is graduated in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Lisbon. She has completed several postgraduate programs: in Sociology of Culture and Lifestyles from the University of Minho, in Criminal Psychology from the Higher Institute of Languages and Administration of Leiria, and in Trauma, Emergency, and Humanitarian Support from the School of Health at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. She earned a Master’s degree in Coaching, Emotional Intelligence, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the European Business School of Barcelona (ENEB), in partnership with the University Isabel I of Castile. In 2023, she completed the first year of the PhD program in Global Studies at the Open University. Since 2023, she has been a collaborating researcher at the Center for Global Studies of Universidade Aberta.
