Vítor Manuel Vaz Silva

Vitor Vaz da Silva is an Adjunct Professor at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, Politécnico de Lisboa (ISEL/IPL) in the Department of Electronic and Telecommunications and Computer Engineering. Bachelor’s degree (ISEL-1987) in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications and Computers. Bachelor’s degree (IST-1990) and Master’s degree (IST-1997) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, control and robotics branch at IST. Degree in Theology (UCP-2007). PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (UNL-2015). His preferred interests are currently in the areas of optoelectronics, electronics, databases and cyber physical systems (IoT-CPS). He currently collaborates with the research centers Giamos-ISEL/IPL, CTS-UNINOVA-LASI, CeFEMA-IST, and CEG-UAb.
