Holds a PhD in Theology, specializing in Theological Ethics, from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Germany. Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Theology, Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Teaches courses in Systematic Theology, focusing on Bioethics, Sexual Ethics, and Fundamental Ethics. Serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Theology and Religious Studies Research. Formerly taught at the Higher Institute of Theological Studies in Coimbra, covering Moral Theology and the Mystery of God. Was a guest lecturer at the School of Health Sciences of Leiria and the School of Technology and Management of Leiria, teaching courses in Bioethics and Medical Ethics. Coordinated the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Religious Sciences at the Faculty of Theology in Fátima (2012-2015), served on the Board of Directors of the Didaskalia Journal (2013-2017), and on the Editorial Board of the Fátima XXI Journal (2010-2017). Has chaired scientific and organizing committees for congresses on the phenomenon of Fátima and was part of the Scientific Committee for the International Congress on the Centenary of Fátima: “Thinking Fátima: Interdisciplinary Readings.”
