Vanda Figueiredo has a degree in Teaching Portuguese, from the University of Minho (2008), and a postgraduate degree in Theory of Literature (specialization in Lusophone Literatures), also from the University of Minho (2009), an institution where she teaches in Portuguese as a Foreign Language courses. She was an investigator at the Center for Lusophone and European Literatures and Cultures at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon (CLEPUL) and at at the School of Letters, Arts and Human Sciences of the University of Minho (ELACH). She is developing a doctoral project focused on the theme of corporeality, more specifically the representations of the modern body in Portuguese literature and other arts.
