Teresa Joaquim holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from ISCTE. She is an Associate Professor with aggregation at Universidade Aberta, Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Women’s Studies and member of the National Council of Ethics for the Life Sciences (1996-2001).
