Susana Mota

Susana Mota has a degree in History; a Master in History – Egyptology (2008) and a PhD in History – Ancient History (2015). Since 2016 she has carried out research in the field of the studies of the Reception of Ancient Egyptian. Between 2016 and 2023 she was co-responsible for the research project Tutankhamun in Portugal. Reports in the Portuguese press (1922-1939), having published several papers, participated in multiple scientific meetings, co-organized an Exhibition commemorating the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb (National Library) and other associated events, and co-authored the e-book Tutankhamun in Portugal. She is currently co-responsible for the project to publish the Global History of the Reception of Ancient Egypt.
