Josefa Sônia Fonseca is a Full Professor at the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC) in Brazil/Bahia. She holds a PhD in Education with a specialization in Curriculum from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo. She teaches in the Master’s Program in Education at UESC and coordinates the Doctoral Program in Administration at UESC, in collaboration with the Federal University of Bahia. Additionally, she is a faculty member in the Master’s Program in Entrepreneurship and Global Citizenship at the Open University. She serves as the Vice-President of Broto Biotechnology Incubator. In 1991, she founded the Paulista Institute of Administrative Sciences, which later received authorization from the Ministry of Education to operate as the Faculty of Sciences of the State of São Paulo.
