Silvio Luiz Cordeiro is an artist, architect (Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, University of São Paulo) and archaeologist (Ph.D., Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, USP). He has an interdisciplinary career, developing projects and studies related to cultural, artistic and audiovisual productions. In recent years, Cordeiro has written essays on heritage, social memory, imagery of cities, and urban landscapes. He directs the MAIA – International Film Festival on Archaeology. He ran the Museu Imaginário, working as a consultant on cultural projects and workshops in communities all over Brazil, including indigenous communities. He is a member of the Center for Global Studies at Universidade Aberta (CEG-UAb) and the Center for Studies in Archaeology, Arts, and Heritage Sciences (CEAACP) at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He is coordinating the international series Antropocênica [ www.antropocenica.ooo ].
