Sílvia Cópio is a social entrepreneur and consultant specializing in Human Rights in Education and Family. She is a researcher focused on Human Rights and the jurisdictional and social policies for defending family rights in education. An author and speaker, she founded the project DEScobrimos – Development, Education, and Sustainability, which promotes comprehensive education development and transformative educational actions through co-creation processes using tools for personal development and pedagogical training. She is also a trainer in collaborative development systems. As the President of the Assembly at the Associação Movimento Educação Livre, she leads efforts in fostering free education movements. Additionally, she coordinates the European Committee of the Global Home Education Exchange, an international NGO dedicated to promoting, developing, and defending the global community of education and family. She holds a degree in Conservation and Restoration and a Master’s in Museology. Her academic journey includes studies at the University of Fine Arts of Lisbon, Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, School of Decorative Arts, Nova University of Lisbon, and Catholic University of Porto, where she achieved various levels of academic training.
