Samuel Dimas is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences at the Catholic University of Portugal, a member of CEFH – Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies at the UCP, member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Luso-Brazilian Philosophy, and contributing member of CEG at the UA. Coordinator of the «Lusophone Thought» line of research at the CEG- Center for Global Studies at the Open University. Graduated in Theology with the thesis «The intuition of God in Fernando Pessoa», Master in Philosophy of Action and in Contemporary Iberian Philosophy, he obtained the degree of Doctor in Philosophy with a thesis entitled «The Metaphysical Theory of Experience in Leonardo Coimbra: Study on mysterious reason and integral redemption». He has focused his interests on Philosophical Anthropology, Philosophy of Religion, Contemporary Philosophy, Metaphysics, Portuguese Philosophy and Aesthetics. He has dedicated himself to the investigation and promotion of Lusophone and Ibero-American Thought.
