PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).
Associate Professor at UFRN working in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering (PPgEEC/UFRN) and the Professional Master’s Degree in Management and Innovation in Health.
In 2021, she was considered one of the 100 most influential personalities of the decade in the health sector. In the scope of research, he is Executive Director of the Laboratory of Technological Innovation in Health at UFRN/HUOL/EBSERH, Chief Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Technological Innovation in Health (R-BITS) and Director of the Collaborating Center of the Pan American Health Organization (OPAS)/ WHO.
He has experience in the area of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Innovation in Health.
