Assistant professor at ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa, Researcher at Advance – Centre for Advanced Research in Management, and Director at CEGE – Centre for Management Studies. Ricardo teaches the curricular units of Introduction to Management, Competition and Competitiveness, Quantitative Data Analysis in Marketing, Strategic Marketing, International Business Management, and Corporate Strategy. Currently, and he is the co-coordinator of the degree in Sport Management at ISEG, Universidade de Lisboa. The research interests include corporate governance but extend to other fields of corporate strategy, internationalization, and marketing. He got his PhD from Universidade de Évora (Portugal) in 2018 with a thesis focusing on corporate governance of European listed companies. He also holds an MBA in Management and an undergraduate degree in Economics, both from ISEG, Technical University of Lisbon.
