Rebecca Marissa Taylor holds a master’s degree in visual arts (2010-2012) and has further enhanced her qualifications by completing a double undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts in Event Management from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand (2015-2016). This additional education was aimed at advancing her career in the event management field, where she has garnered extensive experience. Throughout her studies, Rebecca undertook various subjects, which provided her with comprehensive knowledge and skills pertinent to event management. The subjects she studied include:
Event Design Experience, The Event Perspective,Leadership Principles and Practices, Event Production, Contemporary Issues in Event Management, Tourist Behavior, Event Planning, Event Production. These subjects were approached with depth, incorporating extensive research and a variety of reference materials, equipping her with a solid foundation to excel in her career in event management. During her studies from 2015 to 2016, Rebecca Marissa Taylor was appointed as team leader at her university for Event Design and Event Production. Her strong sense of design, cultivated through her Master’s degree, provided a solid foundation for her leadership roles in these subjects. Her experience in event design required an in-depth understanding of design principles, enabling her to guide her team effectively. During this tenure, she also served as the group leader for a major event organized by Auckland City Council in New Zealand. In this capacity, Rebecca played a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive plan for the team, leveraging meticulous research to inform her strategies and decisions.

Just two years after completing her Master’s degree, she made headlines by breaking a world record and entering the Guinness Book of World Records in 2014 for creating the largest wax sculpture of a tea light candle. Rebecca’s paintings, known for their depth and social relevance, have been auctioned for charitable causes and social justice initiatives. Remarkably, 28 of her works are displayed permanently in locations across India, Australia, New Zealand, Romania, and the United Kingdom. In 2017, she sent a painting to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and presented her artwork to several high-profile individuals, including Usain Bolt, Leander Paes, and the late President of India, Sri Pranab Mukherjee. She is also the recipient of 5 National Records and a National Award winning cartoonist.

Her contributions to the art world and society have not gone unnoticed, as she has received numerous awards, including the International Women’s Achievers Award in 2024, presented by the Chief Minister of Karnataka, India. This accolade recognizes her commitment to excellence and her impact on the arts and community. Rebecca run’s her own Company Taylored Eventz in Australia and India and aims to continue her passion for learning by doing her PHD.
