Pedro Augusto Ferreira

Pedro Augusto Ferreira holds a BA in Translation from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lisbon and an MA in German Translation from the FCSH at the NOVA University of Lisbon. He was an exchange student at the Institute of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Heidelberg, completed a master’s internship at the Institute of Applied Linguistics and Translation at the University of Leipzig, taught Translation and Portuguese Language courses at the University of Mainz, and is currently on a research stay at the University of Saarbrücken. He has also been a professional translator since 2010. His main research areas include variation, corpus studies, and systemic-functional linguistics.
