Paulo Feytor Pinto completed his PhD in Portuguese Studies, specializing in Language Policy, at Universidade Aberta in 2008. He also earned a master’s degree in Intercultural Relations from Universidade Aberta in 1999 and a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, specializing in French and English Studies, from the University of Porto in 1985. He was an adjunct professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal from 2009 to 2016, and he is a full researcher at the Center for General and Applied Linguistics Studies of the University of Coimbra (CELGA-ILTEC). He is also a visiting professor at Universidade Aberta.
