Miguel R. Barcelos (b. 1990) holds a B.A. in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (2014) and Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN (2019). He performed other graduate studies in Literary Theory at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (2014-15) and in Theology at Trinity International University, Deerfield, Illinois (2019-21). As a researcher of the Center for Lusophone Literatures and Cultures of the University of Lisbon and the European Institute for Cultural Sciences Father Manuel Antunes, he integrated teams of editors and organizing and executive committees of conferences. Editor of the Bible Society of Portugal, he works on the revision of the João Ferreira de Almeida translation of the Bible. Corresponding Member of the Portuguese Society for the History of Protestantism. Currently, he is Pastor of the First Lutheran Church of Boston and Director of its Campus and Young Adult Ministry for the Greater Boston Area.
