Maurício Pires Guedes

PhD in Law from Universidade Veiga de Almeida/UVA (2020). Master’s in Law from Universidade Gama Filho/UGF (2012). Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Cândido Mendes (2002), with postgraduate studies in Public and Private Law from the School of Magistracy of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2007). Professor in the Graduate Program and undergraduate Law Program at Universidade Católica de Petrópolis/PPGD/UCP. Currently serving as Director of the Center for Legal Sciences at the same institution. I have a special interest in researching topics related to State Theory and Constitution, Human Rights, and Brazilian Constitutional Thought.
