Mário Negas is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Management of Universidade Aberta (Portugal) since 2010, and an integrated researcher at UID-FCT nº 4372, Laboratory of Distance Education and eLearning (LE@D) – Universidade Aberta (Portugal). He is a collaborator researcher at the Center for Global Studies, of Universidade Aberta. He is currently engaged in degree, master and Ph.D. programs. He as a degree in Management at the Universidade Internacional, Lisbon; a postgraduate degree in Economics and Management Science and Technology at the ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management – Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa), and, since 2010, a Ph.D. in Management (specific field: Information Management), from the Universidade Aberta (UAb). Singular Member of the Portuguese Association for Quality (Portugal), as an expert of CT 224 – Sustainable Cities and Communities (since May 05, 2022). Project Coordinator for “GenZ Now ¿ Understanding and Connecting” at LE@D, Universidade Aberta (ongoing), focusing on the study of Generation Z (Gen Z) at the crossroads of entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and the green economy. He edited 4 books. As a researcher, he focuses on management, information systems, and e-learning. His work explores how technology shapes organizations, optimizes information systems for business efficiency, and enhances distance education. He aims to bridge gaps between technology and business, contributing to sustainable business growth, innovative educational practices, and improved online learning experiences.
