Maria da Glória Salgado Gonçalves holds a PhD in Social Sustainability and Development from Universidade Aberta, specialising in flood risk dynamics in the Vez River Basin. As a researcher at the Centre for Geographical Studies at the University of Lisbon, she has contributed to various interdisciplinary projects focused on environmental sustainability and policy. She also leads an office providing strategic support to students and organisations, fostering knowledge and skills development. She is a member of the Associação Cívica +Porto, contributing to local sustainable development policies. Her work is characterised by a commitment to innovation and resilience in ever-changing contexts.
