Maria Augusta Tavares

Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Social Work. In Portugal, she completed three post-doctoral studies: Social Service, at ISMT; Economics, at the University of Coimbra and Contemporary History, at UNL. She is a member of the Scientific Association Observatory of Living and Working Conditions, in Portugal. Professor from the Federal University of Paraíba – Brazil, retired in 2014. Your research object is informal work, currently aimed at criticizing entrepreneurship. She has several articles published in scientific journals and book chapters. In his production, she highlights Os fios (in)visíveis da produção capitalista: informalidade e precarização do trabalho, SP, Cortez, 2004, whose content was updated and published in 2021, under a new title.
