Professor and researcher in Portuguese-Brazilian Literature at the Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies (DISLL) at the University of Padua. She holds a postdoctoral fellowship in Comparative Cultural Linguistic Studies from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a Ph.D. in Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with a joint supervision agreement with the Sapienza University of Rome. She has taught at the University of Verona, the University of Bologna, and the Catholic University of Chile, where she also served as a visiting professor in the Master’s and Doctoral programs with a scholarship from the Chilean Government/Conicyt. She is a member of AIL (International Association of Lusitanists), AISPEB (Italian Association of Brazilian Studies), IECCPMA (Institute for Comparative Cultural Studies of Portugal, Macao, and the Atlantic), and research groups NIELM/UFRJ, Matrimoine Afro-américano-caribéen (MAAC) at the University of Clermont Auvergne. She coordinates GT19 of CIMEEP (International and Multidisciplinary Center for Epic Studies, UFS) and directs the RUDÁ (Tab-Edizione di Roma) and LABRA (Aracne/Editrice di Roma) collections. Her research focuses on Portuguese Language Literature, with an emphasis on Avant-garde and Experimental Poetry, Hybrid Textualities, Immigration, Gender, Memory and National Identity, and the relationships between Arts and Literature.
