She completed her Habilitation in Cultural Studies on May 26, 2019, at the University of Aveiro, her Ph.D. in Humanities in 2004 at the University of Madeira, and her Master’s degree in Medieval Portuguese Literature in 1995 at the University of Lisbon. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Madeira, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and a Researcher at the Center for Lusophone and European Literatures and Cultures. She has published 27 articles in specialized journals and has authored 44 book chapters and 10 books. She has organized various events, supervised 1 doctoral thesis, co-supervised 4 doctoral theses, supervised 14 master’s dissertations, and co-supervised 4 master’s dissertations. She has received 3 awards and/or honors. She has participated as a Researcher in 2 projects and as a Supervisor in 1 project. Her work focuses on the Humanities, with an emphasis on Languages, Literatures, and Cultural Studies. In her professional activities, she has collaborated with 29 co-authors on scientific publications.
