Livia Bastos Andrade is a philosopher and psychologist. She is a researcher at the Centre for Global Studies at the Open University (UAb) in Portugal. Since 2019, she has been a full professor at the Philosophy Faculty of the UPAEP University and a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico (SNI). She is currently teaching topics of ethics and history of philosophy. First, Livia ernaed a degree, a master’s and a doctorate in Philosophy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. Then she ernaed a degree and a master’s in Psychology at the University of Coimbra. She is the Director of the “Metafísica y Persona” Academic Journal, ISNN 1989-4996. Her main lines of research are dedicated to the study of: (1) classical ethics and anthropology (2) social philosophy topics (3) connections between classical ethics and anthropology and contemporary psychology. From 2020, she began studying Portuguese philosophy and its contributions.
