Juciano Lacerda

Associate Professor IV of the Social Communication Course at UFRN. Coordinator of the Doctorate/Masters in Media Studies (PPgEM/UFRN) and Permanent Professor in the Media Studies and Social Practices research line. PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2008). Post-Doctorate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He is coordinator of the Pragmatic Communication and Media Research Group (PRAGMA-UFRN). He is a member of the management of the Center for Institutional and International Relations and a researcher at the Laboratory of Technological Innovation in Health (LAIS / HUOL / UFRN). Current deputy coordinator of the GT Communication and Citizenship of Compós – National Association of Postgraduate Programs in Communication (2023-24), having coordinated the GT in the 2017-2018 financial year. He is a member of the Communication and Health Thematic Group (GTCom), a body within the permanent structure of the Brazilian Public Health Association (Abrasco).
