Born on January 10th 1996, José Ramón Herrera Delgado holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology with a mention in Archaeology of Ancient Hispania (obtained on October 2019) as well as a Master’s Degree in Archaeology (obtained on December 2020) by Universidad de Sevilla (Spain). He is currently a PhD Researcher for the Department of Prehistory and Archaeology at the same university (Ref FPU21/00516) and also a member of the Centro de Estudos Globais da Universidade Aberta, Lisbon. His ongoing PhD Thesis, on the Cassiterides or Tin Islands, started in 2021 and he is now focusing on extending his research abroad. 

José Ramón’s research interests include the modern and contemporary reception of ancient literature, the depiction of ancient landscapes in modern cartography and the archaeology of ancient tin trade and production in Europe.
