José Carlos Guerreiro Adão

José Carlos Adão has a degree in Teaching Portuguese and English at the University of Évora (2003). In 2010, he completed his Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University, with a Master’s thesis titled “The Formation of the Constitution of East Timor,” supervised by Professor Jorge Miranda. He was awarded the Career Alumni Award 2020 by the University of Évora and also received a Merit Scholarship from the University of Évora for the academic year 2001/2002, as the top student in the Teaching Portuguese and English program. Currently, he is enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Global Studies at Universidade Aberta, in the stage of presenting his thesis project.
