Jorge Trindade graduated in 1998 from the University of Lisbon in Geography and Regional Planning and Master in Physical Geography and Environment from the same institution in 2001. Holds a PhD degree from the Universidade Aberta in Physical Geography obtained in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Universidade Aberta and a senior researcher the Centre for Geographical Studies in the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning. Since 1999, he has participated in several funded projects, supervised research and has published on the dynamics of physical systems, the environment and sustainable land use with particular regard to coastal areas.
