Holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Management (ISCTE, 1993), a Masters in Statistics and Information Management (Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 1999) and a PhD on Management (Universidade Aberta, 2009). He has been a professor at UAb since 2001. His main research and teaching areas include sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and tourism.
