Isabel Ponce de Leão

Professor at the FSHS, University Fernando Pessoa, member of the Center of Global Studies, of the Center of Centralism Studies and of INFAST, voter on the Executive Board of Cooperativa Árvore and Vice-President of the Centro de Estudos Regianos. As docent and researcher cooperates with other University institutions, in Portugal, Latin America, particularly, Brasil, and other European countries. Belongs to the editorial and scientific committee of various journals and other publications and has been a member of scientific organizing committees for conferences and colloquiums, also a member of academic juries, literary prizes (national and international). Cooperates with many local authorities, in particular with Oporto’s, where she is President of the Toponymy Committee. Research areas: cultural journalism, ecocriticism, global studies, modern and contemporary Literature and interarts. She is author of many publications concerning particularly these three latter areas
