PhD in Production and Systems Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in the area of Media and Knowledge; Master in Computing from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in the Database area; Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Retired professor at the Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS) in courses offered by the IT Coordination; Active professor at the Federal University of Sergipe, teaching undergraduate courses in the Department of Computing and master’s and doctorate degrees in education in the Postgraduate Program in Education. Areas of interest: Ergonomics of Human-Computer Interfaces, Philosophy and Sociology of Technology, Information Technology in Education. Leader of the Study and Research Group on Information Technology in Education – GEPIED/UFS/CNPq (www.gepied.org).
