Fernanda Santos is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP), in the Department of Literature at the Santana Campus. She holds a PhD in Literature from the Federal University of Espírito Santo and a PhD in History from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She also has a Master’s degree in African Literatures from Portuguese-speaking Countries from the New University of Lisbon and a Bachelor’s degree in Portuguese Studies from the University of Lisbon. Currently, she teaches Portuguese Literature in the undergraduate Portuguese Studies program at UNIFAP/Santana Campus. She also instructs Literary Theory and Criticism in the Postgraduate Program in Literature, and “Identities, Religious Pluralism, and Secularism in History” in the Postgraduate History Program at UNIFAP. Her areas of interest include Portuguese Literature, Brazilian Literature, African Literatures, Literary Theory and Criticism, History, and Religion.
