Graduated at Philosophy from Universidade de Caxias do Sul (1991), Graduated at Theology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1996), Master’s at Theology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1999) and Doctorate at Theology from Pontifícia Universidade Gregoriana (2003). Vice-Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies. He is also a professor in the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy – Masters and Doctorate, where he works with interdisciplinary problems of ethics, phenomenology and philosophy of religion, and in the Postgraduate Program in History – Masters and Professional Doctorate, where he works with historical heritage intangible cultural. He is editor of the journal Conjectura: philosophy and education and member of the Editorial Board of the University of Caxias do Sul. He is leader of the Religare Research Group. He is an ordinary member of the Círculo Latinoamericano de Fenomenología and Asociación Internacional de Fenomenología y Ciencia Cognitiva. Founding member of the Brazilian Society of Philosophy of Religion. Among his publications, the Manual de História da Filosofia: os pré-socráticos (2021), Ética e corporeidade em perspectiva fenomenológica (2020) and Fenomenologia da Consciência e da Mente (2013), entre outros.
