Clara Bertrand Cabral is an anthropologist , master in Anthropological Sciences and completed her PhD in Social Sustainability and Development in the area of Heritage Studies. Has carried out research in the areas of ethnography, ethnotechnology,museology and heritage, as well as on participatory processes in the context of the UNESCO Conventions. Since 2005 she is Senior Officer for Culture at the Portuguese National Commission for UNESCO where, among other activities, follows the implementation in Portugal of the World Heritage Convention and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention.
