Carlos Filipe Ramos da Serra holds a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics – Language Sciences from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Lisbon (2008) and a master’s degree in Text Editing from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the New University of Lisbon (2012). He was a researcher at the Center for Lusophone and European Literatures and Cultures (Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Lisbon) from 2012 to 2024 and at the Infante D. Henrique Chair for Atlantic Island Studies and Globalization (Universidade Aberta) from 2017 to 2020. Since 2022, he has been a researcher at the Center for Global Studies at Universidade Aberta, where he has taken on editorial roles in various scientific projects, including, among others, Vieira Global – Obra Completa do Padre António Vieira (2012-2014), Aprender Madeira – Dicionário Enciclopédico da Madeira (2015-), Obras Pioneiras da Cultura Portuguesa (2016-2019) e Obra Completa de Fernão de Oliveira (2018-2024).
