Carlos Rafael Branco

PhD in Management, specializing in Finance. Master’s in Monetary and Financial Economics. Bachelor’s degree in Economics. His professional background includes roles in Risk Management, Corporate Finance, and Executive Management. 

In his teaching role at Universidade Aberta, he has conducted research in the field of Finance, particularly focusing on credit risk models, rating systems, sustainability, and financial literacy. He has participated in national and international working groups on banking regulation, a topic on which he has presented at conferences and seminars. 

He is an Advisor to the Order of Economists, having served on the Professional Council, and is a member of the Specialty College of Economics and Business Management.
