He is also a collaborator researcher at CIDEHUS – University of Évora, and at the CIPSH Global Studies Chair – Aberta University. Member of the Portuguese Society for The Study of Construction History – SPEHC, and of the International Movement for a New Museology – MINOM. Founder member of the Association for Studies in Culture, History, Arts and Heritage – CECHAP. Director of the Institute of the Patron of Portugal for the Studies of Mariology – IPPEM. Author and manager of the research projects: «Portugal Marble Route», «Heritage and History of the Marble Industry», «CallipoArtes – Notable Calipolenses personalities» and «Arts & Letters. Literary Tourism Route in Borba, Estremoz and Vila Viçosa». Author of several books and articles. His research interests are Art History, History of Architecture and Construction, Religious Heritage, History of the Ornamental Stone Industry, Industrial Archaeology and Documentation Sciences.
