Bruno Pedro Peixoto Venâncio

Bruno Venâncio (Lisbon, Portugal, 1978) was awarded a PhD in Philosophy by the Nova University of Lisbon (2016) and is a PhD candidate at the Theory of Literature Program of the University of Lisbon (2020-2026). Researcher at the Institute for Philosophical Studies of the University of Coimbra (since 2010) and at the Center for Global Studies of the Portuguese Open University (since 2021), where he founded and coordinates the Literature, Humanism and Cosmopolitanism project (2021-2025) – role in which he organizes the annual summer course, the permanent cycle of conferences on Literature, Humanism and Cosmopolitanism, and the Heritages of Humanity seminar. Researcher in the fields of Philosophy, Literature and also the bridges between them.
