Graduated in History, Master’s degree in history with a specialization in Modern and Contemporary History, and PhD in History, specializing in Contemporary History, all completed at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon. She has completed two extracurricular internships: one at the National Costume Museum and another at the EPAL Water Museum. Additionally, she completed a Doctorat Libre at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. She has participated in colloquia and seminars and has written articles primarily focused on the History of Medicine, Mental Health, and Social Assistance. In 2016, she published her Master’s Dissertation titled: “The ‘Melancholy’ of Power: Representations and Images of D. Maria I, the Pious (1734-1799).” Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in History Education at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and is teaching at a secondary school.
