PhD in Romance Literatures and Cultures from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Porto. Her research spans literary studies and linguistics, focusing on the works of an author who significantly influenced the socio-cultural context of 17th and 18th century Portugal. She is the author of the theses “The Living Book: The Myth of the Ideal Library in Rafael Bluteau’s Prosas Portuguezas” (Master’s) and “A Thread of Voice Does Not Break Silence: Rhetoric and Pedagogy of Silence in Rafael Bluteau” (Doctorate). Her published articles include “Utopia and Spirituality in Rafael Bluteau’s Prosas Portuguezas” and “Forgotten Authors and Works: Rafael Bluteau and His Vocabulario.” She is awaiting publication of her chapter/entry “1712-1728 – The Portuguese and Latin Vocabulary by Rafael Bluteau: A Pilgrim Language” as part of the Global History of Portuguese Literature project, supported by various national and international scientific institutions.
