Adérito Gomes Barbosa is an associate professor at the Catholic University of Mozambique, with extensive experience coordinating doctoral programs and supervising doctoral theses. He received a doctorate in Pastoral Theology from the Pontifical University of Salamanca (1993), with the thesis “Portuguese youth and new evangelization”, and in Educational Sciences, from the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon (2006), with the thesis “The value of gratuitousness in the education of young people”. He teaches at the Faculty of Education and Psychology at UCP. He has edited more than forty publications. He is president of the Association of Dehonian Lay Volunteers (ALVD) and National Coordinator of the Dehonian Family.
